"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change." — Carl Rogers

I believe in helping individuals through a holistic lens that honors both their lived experiences and their hopes for the future. There is value in exploring with curiosity the intersectionality of the heart and mind and how someone finds meaning in their experiences.

My goal as a therapist is to help you exercise compassion for yourself as well as your lived experiences through the lens of the here and now. Together we can gather insight into life and how you draw meaning to your experiences as well as how these experiences shape your core beliefs. We may explore something heavy, such as deep pain or celebrate strength while achieving a goal or milestone. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate and graduate of Eastern Washington University’s Clinician Mental Health Counseling Program, I am able to help you learn practical tools, whilst holding a supportive and validating space to facilitate healing and security. In addition, offering a hopeful perspective as you learn and grow.

My therapeutic approach is centered by the modalities of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gestalt Therapy and Narrative Therapy. I also utilize tools from Internal Family System Therapy (IFS), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy and Attachment Theory. My approach is individualized and eclectic based on your needs. My professional values include but are not limited to authenticity, honesty, accountability, compassion, and impermanence. Some of my therapeutic focuses include recognizing and breaking free from power and control relationships, life transitions, somatic work such as polyvagal theory, processing grief, growth with intentionality, nurturing compassion for the self, navigating life with anxiety and depression and much more.

When I am away from the office, I enjoy immersing myself in new experiences as well as feeling grounded in familiar hobbies. I love to travel and see different places to learn about other cultures and ways of life. Some of my hobbies include gardening as I love both houseplants and outdoor plants, wildlife spotting; more specifically bird watching and following equestrian sports. I love animals and hope to one day bring animals into my practice.
